Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Under the technical guidance of team leader however, is capable to perform independently routine scientific / application research tasks using standard techniques, procedures and equipment. Contributes to project experimental plan

Customer Engagement & Solution Development:

Collaborate with business to understand technical challenges and propose tailored water treatment solutions.

Coordinate and implement customer-specific application plans, ensuring alignment with

business goals.

Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams and customer stakeholders.

Formulation & Product Development:

Develop, optimize and Localize formulations for industrial water treatment applications.

Evaluate performance and stability of new and existing products.

Raw Material Scouting:

Identify and assess new raw materials for performance, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Work with R&D raw material team to qualify new suppliers.

Analytical & Laboratory Work:

Conduct advanced testing using relevant instruments such as UV-Vis, and titration systems.

Interpret data and prepare detailed technical documentation and reports.

Coordinate with application centers in Germany / China to analyze specific applications ensuring first time right implementations.

Aim to understand phenomena deeply. Able to utilize root cause analysis to pinpoint the exact cause of an issue, leading meaningful conclusions.

Ensure adherence to internal and industry-standard practices in all technical activities. Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.

Willing to participate in employee engagement activities.

Industry Engagement:

Maintain active relationships with industry associations, technical forums, and regulatory bodies.

Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.

Requirements
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial water treatment or specialty chemicals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on lab experience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., REACH, EPA) is a plus.
