Job description

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related discipline.

(An MBA (Marketing/International Business) will be an added advantage)

  • Experience in commodity chemicals, polymers, or industrial raw material trading.
  • Experience in domestic and/or international chemical trading.
  • . Preferred Background
  • Preference will be given to candidates currently working with:
  • Chemical Indenting companies
  • Chemical Trading / Distributing companies
  • Liaison or Representative offices of overseas chemical companies in India
Requirements

Desired Skills

  • Good understanding of commodity chemicals and polymer markets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, import/export documentation, and international payment terms (LC, TT, CAD, etc.).
  • Ability to coordinate with overseas suppliers and Indian customers.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and willing to travel for customer visits.
