Job description
  • Conduct market analysis by being informed and up-to-date with the contemporary industry practises and trends, exogenous factors, market conditions and competitors’ approach towards the given dynamic situations.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to keep up with the assigned targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Adapting and altering Sales Strategies with respect to the conclusions drawn from the conducted market research/analysis.
  • Rigorously working towards Client Acquisition by identifying new and all possible business opportunities while simultaneously devising new sales and upselling offers and establishing client relationships
  • Efficiently managing the Sales cycle from the initiation of lead generation to the closure of the order fulfilment.
  • Ensuring the expansion of the client database through direct connect and inter-department coordination to have a transparent and hassle-free experience for the clients.
  • Preparing and presenting regular and required Sales Reports in the management meetings backed with authentic and factual data.
  • Compiling and Preparing Quarterly Sales Budget and Forecasting and tracking the progress against goals should be an on-going task at all given times.
  • Work in close association with the Vendor Management team and the Key Accounts Managers to build, develop and maintain trust and strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their asks and grievances are readily addressed.
  • Maintain a professional and continuous connect with Ships owners and Ship managers.
  • Demonstrate the company platform to new and prospective companies/clients.
  • Provide necessary training to the team members as and when required.
Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Total experience should be more than 5 years in the required field with expertise in the sales skills.

3. Proven track record in sales management, preferably in the shipping and logistics industry.

4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a sales team.

5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

6. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.

7. Familiarity with CRM software, Excel and Sales Analytics Tools.

8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

9. Experience in the Maritime Industry is an added advantage.

10. Located in Noida or nearby regions and available to start immediately.
