B.S. or M.S. in Organic Chemistry or a related discipline is required, and further industrial work experience is desirable.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of traditional and modern synthetic organic methodologies, purification techniques and spectroscopic methods for the synthesis of complex small molecules is required.
• Exceptional laboratory skills and an attention to detail.
• Ability to carry out multi-step synthetic sequences on multi-gram scales safely.
• The ability to effectively collaborate and work in teams of scientists, including working closely with a Principal Investigator.
• Experience working in kilo, pilot and/or manufacturing scale environments is desirable.
