About the Role
We are looking for a CA-qualified Finance Manager with strong plant finance exposure in the Indian manufacturing sector. You will own end-to-end financial management for the plant, drive Business Excellence through numbers, and be a key business partner to Operations and Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Planning: Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for the plant in alignment with corporate targets.
- P&L Ownership: Prepare, analyze, and drive monthly plant P&L. Identify levers to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Balance Sheet: Responsible for plant-level balance sheet preparation, schedules, and month-end closing activities.
- MIS Reporting: Design and deliver timely MIS reports and dashboards to CFO, MD, and plant leadership for data-driven decisions.
- Variance Analysis: Perform detailed variance analysis vs Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year. Provide actionable insights on material, conversion, and fixed costs.
- Profitability Metrics: Track and report EBITDA and other key metrics. Support pricing, margin analysis, and capex evaluations.
- Plant Finance: Handle product costing, inventory valuation, cost accounting, capex accounting, and internal controls at plant level.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure statutory compliance, support internal/statutory audits, and maintain documentation as per Ind AS.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to evaluate financial impact of business decisions
