Drive quality initiatives and high standards across the organization in order to ensure low rejection rates and build the brand image as a high-quality supplier in the minds of the customers
To develop the suppliers as per the expectations of the company thus ensuring high quality of supplies in order to reduce the material-related defects
To guide, implement and monitor various activities related to functional excellence, business process improvement, and quality systems across the organization to achieve business excellence
Conduct analysis to identify whether any customer complaint is due to in-house manufacturing or due to supplier issues through interaction with different departments and send the action plan to resolve the complaint to the customer
Drive quality improvement projects based on customer complaints along with other functions to reduce the customer complaints
Drive the development initiatives for supplier improvement by monitoring the progress of initiatives, undertaking joint projects with suppliers ((SQA), and ensuring adherence to the project plans to derive the maximum benefit out of the initiatives
Drive shop floor quality improvement initiatives by creating plans for annual initiatives to ensure an improvement in the overall production quality and a reduction in the overall bearing manufacturing costs
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, SPC, Six Sigma Black Belt, Engineering drawings, program management, problem-solving skills, Knowledge of quality management systems (TQM, TPM, Deming), Application Metrology, Metallurgy basics
