1 Receipt Inspection: Conduct inspection and verification of incoming raw materials, castings, forgings, bought-out items, and consumables as per drawing specifications and QAP.

2. Check supplier MTC (Material Test Certificates), and physical properties.

3. Test sample preparation as per Material test plan (e.g., cutting lugs/test bars, casting, AL etc.) Ensure timely dispatch of samples to internal/external labs and follow up for reports.

4. Non-Conformance Handling: Identify non-conforming materials. Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and communicate with suppliers through SQA and SCM.
