Objective: The AGM of Planning is responsible for managing all planning activities within the supply chain function. Responsibilities involve the day-to-day SCM planning in coordination with Sales forecasting, Production planning, Procurements, International logistics, CSR and Finance functions to full fill the customer orders and to ensure cost-effective SCM operations.
Role & responsibilities
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management teams to align demand forecasts with market trends and business objectives.
Continuously improve forecasting accuracy to reduce inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
Oversee production planning and scheduling, ensuring alignment with customer demand, capacity, and resource availability.
Develop and execute supply plans that optimize production schedules, material procurement, and resource allocation.
Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between sales, production planning, and supply chain functions.
Establish the inventory management planning to balance supply and demand while minimizing working capital and obsolescence risks.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Understanding of regional supplies, major trade flows & routes
Understanding of best practices in Logistics & transportation management
Planning tools manage, Implement best practices, process improvements, and innovative solutions to enhance planning accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, operations or Supply Chain Management. Business Administration degree, or a related field
